GROCOTT KIT
Six-reagent kit for staining fungi

Grocott kit is used for visualization of fungi and histological argentaffi n structures in general (such
as basal membranes). Gold chloride and sodium thiosulfate solutions additionally enhance the
section’s coloration and remove non-specifi c background coloration, while the green counterstain
provides clear and visually rich contrast to target structures stained black.
